The Museum holds a variety of events throughout the year.
Our annual Exploring Yesterday for Youth is an event wherein we host students and offer them an opportunity for hands on demonstrations. It is an open invitation to all students and their educators in grades 3rd through 5th. Volunteers set up stations at which they demonstrate hands on techniques that the school children can participate in. Cow Milking, Rope Making, Sorghum Grinding, Corn Shelling, One Room Schoolhouse lessons and more await your students!
In June, help us celebrate Wheat Harvest Day. We feature horse and/or tractor drawn wheat binding. Best of all, you can participate in the threshing just as a harvest crew member from the 1900’s.
